Why I want to go to this place

I’m thinking of going to the Ajax World conference in March 2007 in NYC.

A review of this place: Lovely city

Aix en Provence is a beautiful town. My wife is from Marseille and we usually spend a day in Aix when we are down here visiting her family.

Beautiful architecture and great shopping.

A great adventure

I spent 11 days touring around Morocco in 1996 and it had a huge impact on me. I started in Tangiers and then headed south to Marrakech and then over the Atlas mountains to a small southern town called Ouazarzate. I was travelling alone and suffered a huge amount of culture shock. Morocco was the first really exotic place I had visited and it took me a long time to get used to the differences in culture but in the end it was a really positive experience.

A review of this place: Unexpected place

My wife and I took a holiday to Malta a few years ago. The people are very friendly and the restaurants were very accomodating of our 9-month old baby. It has a surprising amount of English culture mixed with the Mediterranean. What is most surprising is just how small the island is.

Chiswick

Worth visiting!

I live here

I moved here from Hammersmith in 2004 when we were expecting our second child (Chiswick is much more family-friendly). It’s a great place to live if you don’t need too much night-life and if you love to eat out.

I also run my business from an office in the Barley Mow Centre by Turnham Green.

Alameda

Worth visiting!

We lived here for 6 years

My family moved from Vallejo to Alameda when I was 3 or 4. First we lived on Broadway and later at 437 Whitehall Road. I went to Edison School first, and later on Lum School.

We moved to England in 1976, when I was 10, but I have fond memories of Alameda.

Summer vacation spot

My parents lived here in the early sixties before I was born. Later they moved north to San Francisco but we used to come down to San Diego every summer for vacation. We’d stay in the 7-11 Motel and visit the zoo and Sea World.

Vallejo

Worth visiting!

I was born here in 1966

We lived at 408 Capital Street until I was 3 years old when we moved to Alameda in the Bay Area. My dad was stationed at the naval base in Vallejo back in the mid-Sixties.
