I lived here for a couple of years between 2002 and 2004. I the people are the most kind and accepting that I have met. I have met complete strangers in El Salvador that have taken me into their homes and treated me as family. The cities and the smaller towns and beaches are all worth checking out.

San Luis is definately on my top five Mexican cities list. It has remained close to it’s colonial roots. It has some amazing colonial archetecture and the people are laid back and willing to show you around.

I spent three months in Monterrey this year and loved the city. It is Mexico’s commercial center and is very modernized, unlike many of the ‘pueblos’ throughout the rest of Mexico. A great city to study in, work in, and get to know.
