Great place for fun for the whole family! Clean, friendly environment. Lots to do, got a little of everything here. I had a great time when we went. Though I will say this, it’s not a great place for thrill rides. You’re better off going to Cedar Point in Sandusky OH for that.

Definitely worth seeing. Make sure to take your camera! The hike to Delicate Arch is SO worth it! You’ll be rewarded in the end, especially if you go during the morning sunrise or evening sunset. Simply Gorgeous! The Gossips is one of my favorite formations as well.

Lived here most of my life. It’s a very small town, with a very big heart. Don’t bother if you don’t like football though. The Bellaire Big Reds are the heart and soul of this place. Great pizza, though the names keep changing. Not a whole lot to do or see. Just a small country atmosphere, quiet and slow-paced

Best amusement park I’ve ever been too! Especially if you like roller coasters. The lines are long of course, but the rides are worth the wait. Your best bet is to get there early and stay a night or two!

Definitely worth going. The sights are awesome. We’ve gone the last couple of years on Memorial Day weekend. If you do this, make sure to get there EXTREMELY early or make reservations. Hiking, canoing, rock climbing, camping…..so much fun!

A great cultural area of Louisville. But I don’t go here often because the traffic is AWFUL!

Kentucky Kingdom is a decent amusement park. It certainly can appease the appetite for thrill rides now and again. The park is good for locals. But for a visitor, don’t come to Louisville to go to Kentucky Kingdom. If you want a great amusement park, head to Sandusky, OH and go to Cedar Point. Cedar Point knocks Kentucky Kingdom out of the park!

I’ve heard the baby elephant is adorable! Unfortunately haven’t made it there myself for 2 summers. But definitely worth going.

If you haven’t been to Thunder at least once in your life, it’s definitely worth going too! But I’d leave the kids (and pets!) at home. Especially if you’re going to experience Thunder the right way—on the waterfront. It’s one big drinking party.

The air show is at 3 pm and is okay. It breaks up the afternoon at least. Because if you’re going to Thunder, you need to arrive at least by 11 am. And the fireworks don’t start until 9:30ish. So….it’s a WHOLE day thing.

I’ve gone the last couple years in a row. I think I’ve got it out of my system for now. We probably won’t go back next year. It’s worth doing at least once, but not something you need to see every single year.
