Marvin, U Street Corridor

Marvin makes me sing!

I never thought I would enjoy fried chicken on waffles, but Marvin expanded my horizons and let me experience the deliciousness that is maple syrup on fried chicken.

And they had an awesome Michael Jackson tribute party last summer as well. On the roof deck they played a mix of his music videos projected on the wall of the building next door.

Lauriol Plaza, Dupont Circle

Frozen Margaritas!

I don’t know anyone who goes to Lauriol for the food. It’s a place that best for sipping frozen margaritas on the roof deck. Or snag a table on the patio in the summer and bring your pooch along to hang out.

Bistro Du Coin, Dupont Circle

Beaujolais Nouveau & Bastille Day

Bistrot du Coin is a nice place to check out any time, but fabulous for French holidays! Make sure to get a later dinner reservation or be prepared to wait in a long line to get in for the parties.
