My stepson is scared of the illustrations in this story. I think it gives him nightmares. I won’t say how old he is, but he’s very young and sensitive. So, although I think the illustrations and the story are great, as I did when I was a child, he doesn’t want me anyone read it with him. Hopefully, he’ll have a good opportunity to read it when he feels brave and is not too old to appreciate Where The Wild Things Are, as only a child can.

As Walker Evans put it, the Short North Tavern is “a great place to grab a late bite to eat”, much like the Blue Danube. I have not enjoyed any of the bands I’ve seen there. The bartenders are usually good, and there are darts to play! So, if you are in the Short North area of Columbus, then this place is worth checking out.

I wasn’t that impressed, but there must have been something good about it that I remembered. When I took my family to it on my second visit, everyone, including me, liked it very much. We ate there twice during our most recent trip. The kids loved it. The prices were reasonable for Santa Fe, and the service was not bad. It is a fun, casual, non-pretentious “New Mexican” style restaurant, where you can feel comfortable drinking a beer straight from the bottle and laughing loudly.

If you like art galleries there are blocks of them here. If you like mixed-cuisine restaurants you can’t stumble without hitting one.

Santa Fe is a very old and beautiful city, surrounded, it seems, by snow-capped mountains and deserts.

I traveled through the south of France and to Paris when I was about 9 years old. Then, I wasn’t an excellent French speaker, but I visited Casis, Le Cote D’Azur, Nice, Marseille, Bandol, and La Rue De Crete.

Then, when I was a sophomore in high school I visited more, spoke more, and understood more.

Sorry, it’s such a boring start to a story. I’ll fix it. I promise!
