horribly to drive around – simply because locals give directions with names like “fuzzy bunny bottom” “happy nifty such-and-such neighborhood” and you’re expected to know that “happy ville” and “that other place” are adjacent.

besides that – it’s a very young and vibrant city, much cleaner than I’d expected.

oh yeah… and cannons :D

getting up close and personal, in a quiet, natural and un-encumbered way was such an experience!

but WOW. “Mommy mommy, this isn’t Greenland, it’s WHITE land!” – all I remember, but what a place ;)

it’s not BAD. i just was not all that impressed the few times I was there… if I didn’t have a friend who knew the bar tender and got us a few free beers, it’d have been a pretty boring experience.

If you have to do only 2 things in Rochester, go to Dino BBQ and get a Plate (although I’d skip the second… )

I spent too many years of my life here, if I could never see a brick again, I would be happy…

can’t go wrong with the formula: good (and changing) beer selection on draft, british-accented staff (not fake, interns hehe) and a good (cork) dartboard. toss in some good food to boot, and you’re at the Old Toad.
