It’s worth going to at least once, especially for Howl at the Moon. What most tourists fail to realize is that this is a tourist place. Most Fort Lauderdale locals do not hang out here, but rather downtown or Seminole Paradise at Hard Rock.

I was totally overwhelmed. I have been to MANY baseball stadiums in my lifetime, but Turner Field is an EXPERIENCE!

To everyone below that complains that The Varsity is greasy: What the heck did you THINK it was going to be like?
I tell everyone I know if they’re making a trip to ATL that The Varsity chili cheese fries and peach and apples pies are DELICIOUS! Yum yum GREASE!

My husband and I went to Pennekamp three weekends ago and absolutely loved it. We were only able to go for a day, but found time for snorkeling and canoeing. The snorkel trip was amazing. Such an experience being so close to the wildlife.
We will definitely make it again this summer!

I visited Zoo Atlanta just once in the year that I lived in the city. I wasn’t impressed. Maybe it was because they were re-renovating (This was back in 2002-2003) but all of the animals seemed genuinely miserable. It wasn’t that great, wasn’t very clean, and wasn’t nearly as good as many of the other zoos I’ve been to.

It is an incredible place to see a live show! Saw Dave Matthews band there in 2003(?) and loved every moment of it!

I am a Florida native, born and raised in Lakeland. I don’t live there any longer, but it is and always will be home.
There aren’t a lot of things to do here, especially for a young person. But I promise you will always be welcomed here, because people are on the whole generally pretty nice.

Because you can never ride enough roller coasters. Because there is SO MUCH MORE to Orlando than Mickey Mouse. Because there’s no place like it. Because there is so much to explore!
