Indiana
Worth visiting!
A tip I have about this place — 1 year ago
Don’t look for stuff you can get every where else in Indiana you will be disappointed. Instead look for some of the fastest fading ecosystems. The Dunes to the north along Lake Michigan are amazing especially around Chesterton and Michigan City.
In the Spring the migratory flight of Sand Hill Cranes around Kankakee Fish and Wildlife area is amazing to see. See the Amish communities in the off season when they aren’t catering to the tourists. You can even arrange for dinners in some Amish homes.
Go to Hoosier National Forest and see what alot of Indiana was like before we got the bright idea to pave everything.
Check out the kayak course in South Bend and the salmon runs through the river in the fall.
