The Getty Center is spectacular, especially when one considers admission is completely free. Plan on spending at least an entire day or coming back for multiple visits. A word of warning: don’t get too close to the uncovered Monet when giving art lessons to your children; the guards are overly protective. ;)
over 5 years agolike most cities in the rust belt, detroit is to be avoided at all costs.
