Market Grill, Pike Place Market

Best salmon sandwich in Seattle

These guys make a killer grilled salmon sandwich (halibut is available too). Always the best quality fish, perfectly cooked, by friendly staff. The clam chowder is also recommended if you like a thinner variety (more clam, less cream).

They seem to be open every day for lunch, into the late afternoon.

Baguette Box, Capitol Hill

I will be back many times

Baguette Box was well worth the visit. I had gone in expecting something akin to the $2 BBQ pork baguettes that can be found in numerous places in the International District (which are amazing for the price), but the sandwich I had here (pork loin in red wine) was truly excellent. The pork loin was tender and flavorful, and the roasted red peppers and onions were a good complement. A bit on the messy side, but that’s OK. :)

Die Bierstube, Roosevelt

Excellent selection of German beer and a limited but tasty menu. Friendly place.
