I was recently on an end of season cricket trip to the beach resort near Durras in the national park.

Lots of wild life, kangaroos that are friendly enough to approach you, can handle being petted, and lots of possums :-)

Beautiful beach area, Bateman’s Bay is a short drive away.

Past Warrnambool and you have the cute township of Port Fairy.

Lots to see, lots to do!

Ashfield and Canterbury border this suburb.
Fairly typical Sydney suburbia with the occasional coffee shop and mixed business

Some supermarkets, Big W, Newsagent, Target, Cafes, Action, EB Games, Foot Locker etc

This is a regular lunch spot for us, the shopping centre has a reasonable food court, movie theatres and a big IKEA :-)

Lots of interesting shops, good food, close to the water.

There’s a great cafe in Annandale, called Hopscotch.

Great food, intimate atmosphere.

Great for a quick coffee or a meal.
