over 5 years agoGot to see the town, visit an old plantation…the way they divided the land was fascinating – really long, thin strips that gave everyone access to the river.
over 5 years agoThere’s a small campground (can’t remember the name) on the Schoodic peninsula. It’s actually a nature reserve, and the only reason we found it was because we drove by. You have to hike in about a 1/4 mile from your vehicle, but you get a campsite that’s very secluded and is about 15 feet from the ocean. It was the highlight of the trip, absolutely unbelievable.
