I lived here back when it was being developed from prairie

Back then in the early 1970s, I remember it as being a good place to relax and be able to get to the big city easily.

Bethel, Connecticut

I grew up in this nice small town!

I loved living in Bethel. It has a smart small-town culture, and is close to NYC (2 hours) and Boston (3 hours). Great outdoors, friendly people, and good food are all easy to find.

I loved visiting in January 2006. It’s a gorgeous city with a very interesting history.
