Beautiful place, wonderful weather, friendly people, and sangria.

Only been to Berlin, and in the middle of a snow storm, but it was a very interesting few days.

Only really got to spend time in Amsterdam… but after two months there, I loathe it to the point where the thought of going back makes me nauseated. Not recommended.

If you do go to the Netherlands, I would suggest skipping Amsterdam and heading up to Friesland (a northern provience).

I loved France so much that I’ve now promised myself to move there one day. One day soon.

France is the best place on earth next to Yosemite (in California)... make your next trip here as soon as possible. Try to hit up Paris (of course), St. Emilion (medevial town on UNESCO list with great wine), and Carcassonne (huge Camelot look alike castle with people still living in the city inside).

Going here on a study abroad excursion in 2006. Yay!

So I’m totally going to Spain as a part of my study abroad program, because it’s on the list of scheduled excursions. w00t!

Looks like I’ll be going to Amsterdam sometime in Jan. or Feb. for my semester abroad—I checked the website, and I was accepted today!

This isn’t a place that lots of people seem to visit. I’m sure things have changed since I’ve been there at least 5 years ago, but more people need to visit Poland. I only ran into one person who spoke English the entire time I was there, which was a great experience, altogether. As well, so many things in the older quarters are rebuilt completely and artificially aged to look like they were never destroyed during various wars. It’s amazing! Great people, great food (when it wasn’t scarce and I wasn’t in a small, small town…), and amazing things to see.

Except not really. I’ve never actually gambled in Vegas, but I love the city. I have relatives there, so I’ve visited a ridiculous number of times. The city goes against a variety things that I personally believe in—but for some reason I’m able to let go of all of that and just have fun when I’m there.

Also, just outside of Vegas there are some beautiful locations and (from what I hear) great skiing (sp?). Area 51 is also always fun to trespass onto, and Nevada has some beautiful locations, and …

Oregon has so many amazing things… among them I recommend time on the beach near redwood trees (my favourite combination) or visiting Bandon, OR. There’s an awesome wild animal park somewhere around there where I got to hold a baby panther and also a great cheese company.
