Eh bad attitudes. I used to absolutely despise Starbucks and only supported indie coffee places but I am so sick of the uneven and usually surly service. I don’t know why Ladro charges double price if I want two tea bags for my tea. Don’t they understand the basic concept of economics that a customer standing in front of you is worth more than the one walking by on the street? The concept that they are “losing” out on the full price that they would charge a new customer is not worth losing me when I’m already standing there with my money and will not spend $3.50 on a tea because it has two bags. They could have gotten an additional 50 cents from me. That kind of logic is totally ridiculous when you consider that my BF got an extra shot of espresso in his americano and they did NOT charge him for an entire second cup of coffee. Duh. I kept this rant to myself as I realized it was a losing battle and had already been ignored while the cashier talked to their friend in front of me for a seriously long time.
