It was an experience like nothing I’ve had going to the mountains. I drove out about 25 miles to a camp ground called cold springs which was really just a few open sites near a river. I went up at night so we pitched our tent and slept. When we woke up it was snowing and there were four or five deer grazing by the tent and the views were breathtaking! A must visit opportunity :).
over 5 years agoI lived in San Clemente for just over a year, and it is one of the most fantastic places on earth! The climate is nearly perfect all year round. There is tons to do and you see something amazing just about every day. Make this a definite stop on your list of places to go!
over 5 years agoI only passed through Grants Pass, but I wish I had spent more time. The views along the drive were spectacular.
