Moorea, Society Islands

This island was amazing

All I wanted to do was kick back and snorkel. This island fit the bill perfectly. Plus the people are really cool and I met a lot of travelers along the way. If your cool with basic amenities I recommend Camping Nelson. I had the thatched hut right on the beach. It just doesn’t get any better than this.

Here is a typical day: Wake up and make breakfast in the kitchen. Go snorkeling. Have lunch. take a siesta. more snorkeling. watch amazing sunsets with fellow travelers. make dinner. drink a few hinano beers. go to sleep.

La petite village is just down the road and you can purchase all your groceries there – I lived cheaply off ham, fresh fruit, french baguettes & cheese. oh yeah it helps to know a little french but you can get by with out it.
