Tianfu Square in Chengdu, Sichuan

It’s shaped like a yin-yang symbol with two separate spiral fixtures. Site of the future “union square” subway station for Chengdu.

Statue of Mao Zedong is here as well. Remin People’s Park is nearby, as is the Chunxi Road shopping area.

Great Food in Xiamen

Yummy! If you want the best in seafood stick to the coast and a small city like Xiamen (which isn’t so crowded that awful tourist trap places can exist but just small enough to have great food everywhere). Yes, just about everywhere you go the food is awesome and at tremendously inexpensive prices. The best food I have ever eaten by a long long way. Thanks Xiamen.
