dont expect going home with money or on time. i always end up broke and looking for excuses to stay longer!

go to kajuns pub on st. claude across from the hiho lounge (i think the addy is 2552 st. claude.) its on the block between mandeville and marigny. locals and dirty kid bar. travellers and crackheads alike. but for the most part its full of really awesome friendly neighbors and GREAT bartenders. mike is the best! plus there are $5 pitchers and really strong $1 jello shots!

the cops were SUPER NICE, the locals were great, stores easy to shoplift from and an easy hop out on csx!

blah town. if you want to hop out on the csx mainline look for the old train station to wait out in.

i liked this town a lot. seemed like it would be ripe with tourists and rich folks to spange while i was there but 7 other travellers were in town and had blown up the city. the cops were on our asses the whole time we were there. but the pier with the swings and the fountain were rad. so was the abandoned library we squatted.

i went to a world inferno friendship society show at el corazon. it was awesome! and theres a prosthetics dumpster within the city limits. perfect for halloween decoration.

not worth it… at least for travelling hobos.

people suck. but there is a great feeding at the salvation army on wednesday nights

i caught a ride in, to the exit with the convention center. the night of a TI concert (barf). there were rowdy rap fans and cops everywhere and right after i got there a tremendous thunderstorm started. being homeless and trying to find a spot to camp was impossible. too many cops anyways. i had to call my mom and beg for her to pay for a hotel room. at least i got 2 showers. then hitching out was hell. so many people pulled over then sped off as soon as we got to the car. and things were thrown at us.

also, my car was stolen the first time i came to greensboro.

great punk scene and great kids! punx picnic was awesome (well until the cops showed up with a paddy wagon)

had a blast, but really could never get my bearings there. i always was lost.

too expensive. too many wingnut homeless.

ugh. i hated my life the 12 hours i was there.
