Angel Stadium, Anaheim

Untitled

I saw an Angeles game way back in the day, I think 1997 here, but more recently, I watched USA V. Japan in the World Baseball Classic. I was amazed at how nice the place has been renovated in recent years and how comfortable it is. Plus, the view was not bad for being an older ballpark (not too old, but not part of the new era of parks where everything is really close).

Disneyland Park, Disneyland Resort

Happiest Place on Earth

I never grew up in Los Angeles or Southern California, but I moved to the region for school (I went to UCLA) and during most of that time, I had a annual passport to Disneyland. I had been numerous times during childhood and it was lots of fun to revisit those memories, especially during the 50th anniversary.

My advice for those who’ve been and want to make it more fun; go with different people each time. You’ll be amazed at how much more fun it can be. The best candidates are significant others and small kids. But changing up who you go with will inevitably create new memories and you’ll appreciate the park a lot more.

E3, Los Angeles

Eh, It's Neat Once...

Going back though year after year is the same exact experience. It’s probably one of the best trade shows you could ever go to, but if you’re just going to have fun, it becomes the same thing year after year. Think of it this way. If you can stand going to Disneyland more than once a year, you’ll probably enjoy repeat visits.
