I really liked the Latin Quarter, although we when we were there last we were staying with friends in Montreuil – its right on the other side of the Seine river and very central – and the Taschen outlet is there!

over 5 years agoChangsha is an interesting place to visit just because its a standard Chinese city. It claims to be the home of Mao, actually Mao’s hometown is a little bit further, but Changsha is the closest major city.
The best thing about Changsha was the food – I hightly recommend youlin lajao, mai ye shangshu, huoguo ruo, and the fried noodles you can get almost anywhere!
