Calcutta - life like nowhere else

I never saw such a clear picture of the human condition as I did in Calcutta. To visit that city is to understand the worthlessness of money – and how those without any are often the most generous of all.

I’m moving to the Northgate area which is just north of the University of Washington. It’s not interesting enough to visit, but it’s a great part of the city to live in.
