The only place I visited was Barcelona, but even with that I hardly felt bored. It was a really fun city.

I had a fun holiday here once. The restaurants were nice visits and the beaches were comfortable. Now days I wouldn’t be interested in a tourist holiday, so I’d do it a different manner…

I’ve been to France a couple times, each time staying for less than a week. Disneyland was fun as a youngster. I’ve always thought French was a difficult language, so I’ve put off learning it, but recently I came into a situation where I wanted to understand French discussion, and was able to break down the grammar structure with the help of an online translator and some locals who were there to explain things to me.

I think it’s been way too long since I’ve last been to France, and that I should fix that next summer.

I really liked Germany, the half a dozen towns and cities across the country I’ve visited. Once I even got to work a little in a small, currently non-existing restaurant near Muenster. As a kid I chose German as my first foreign language to study, and I did that for about a decade without having any motivation in it. Later I visited Germany many times and found this language study a blessing in disguise, being grateful I suffered through lessons I saw no point in sitting out back then.

This year I entered a school where I study baking and confectionary, with my interests leaning heavily towards the latter one, so it seems Germany has once again become the country I must travel to – and learn more about making confections.
