I had some of the most delicious sushi rolls I have ever had. Now I don’t remember what I ordered, so I guess I will go back, drink some more sake and use the process of elimination. Someone better loan me some $$$

The Virginia Inn, Pike Place Market

I still love that this is the place Paul Giamatti was sucking that girl’s face in “Singles”. That said, they have a small but fantastic wine selection and a savory cheese plate. It is just removed from the Market enough to be a nice retreat for (or from) tourists, and they have rotating art exhibited on their walls.

Real people and really good food. Crab-stuffed jalapenos, rabbit & andouille jambalaya, strong drinks and staffed with storytellers.
