New Orleans, Orleans Parish
Creole Charm
New Orleans reminds me of Harlem in that you can just feel the history surround you. My last visit, I stayed pretty close to the French Quarter, but next time I’ll venture out more.

over 6 years agoEach time I’ve gone to Atlanta, I’ve had a great time. I’ve been a couple of times for In The Life Atlanta (their Black Pride celebration that happens around Labor Day) and, I tell you, there’s nothing like southern hospitality!
And biscuits! Oh my goodness, I’ve never seen people eat whole trays of biscuits – but they are SO GOOD! Even at a fast-food joint like Chik-fil-a, the biscuits are wonderful. swoon! However, for the real deal, you HAVE to visit The Flying Biscuit! Oh!
