Great Kroger, good Chinese restaurants, decent antique shopping, lots of pretty architecture. Good tattoo shops.

I have investigated paranormal activity all over this city. It’s very active. The Villa Main Railroad Tracks story is a HOAX. Again, Villa Main is not haunted by small children who were killed when a train hit their school bus. Do not eat at La Paloma del Rio on the Riverwalk. Horrible service. The Menger Hotel has 36 resident ghosts. Check out Docia Williams’ books about haunted San Antonio. Great shopping, hotels, lots to do. Everyone should visit more than once.

The shopping is great and the Mardi Gras parade on Ryan Street is a lot of fun. Check out the small line of gift shops on Hodges Street just east of the intersection of Ryan and 18th downtown. Very cool stuff. The bakery across the street is also good. There are a number of good antique stores in town. Bazaar Treasures is also very inexpensive. They have jewelry and home decor.

I went to Graceland. I did have a paranormal experience. Very cool.

Great city! The Hard Rock has an awesome pulled pork sandwich.

Asheville is a beautiful place. Some parts of town are scary. This is the San Francisco of the East Coast. The men do not open doors for women. It is a very progressive city. Their attitude is not “southern.” The wine here is great! The shopping is great! Visit their Episcopal Church. Very cool place.

Jennings, Louisiana is a great place. Everytime I visit, I am able to completely clear my mind and start over again. What an awesome place to think about things. My home-away-from-home. Wonderful!

Lafayette, Louisiana is an awesome place to visit! if I could live in Lafayette, I would move there today. It is a wonderful place.

There’s not much to Nixa. It’s small, gossipy, and full of fast-food restaurants. Like any small town, everyone knows your business if you let them. However, compared to other cities, it is a safe place to live. Most everyone is nice. Most “Nixa-natives” are not very educated and enjoy butchering the Engligh language – even those Southwest Missouri considers the “professionals” and “well-to-do’s.” Go figure. Teenage pregnancy and the high school drop-out rates are very high – as is the divorce rate or the out-of-wedlock and unwed rates, for that matter. Supposedly, Nixa is the place to live in the Springfield metro area. If this is as good as it gets around here, you’ll have to travel if you are seeking culture or other challenges of the mind. Safe is good. It outweighs the more bland aspects of this place.

Dallas is a very posh city with lost to see and do. From my experience there (31 years,) I believe that some parts of Dallas are very dangerous places to live – and I am not just talking about well-known dangerous locations like South Dallas, Oak Cliff, Downtown, Park and Greenville, etc. I grew up in Highland Park and lived there for most of my life. I was victimized twice in Highland Park, once in the Park Lane/Greenville Avenue area, and once in Deep Ellum. I suppose being exposed to these crimes has something to do with probability, but none the less, you need to be very careful in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
