This is where my mother-in-law lived and I went down there for the funeral. The weather was not great, but of course it was January. It was still in the 60Fs (15C), but it rained most of the time.

It is still a very nice place though.

My mother in law lived in Louisiana. She passed away in early January so I went down for the funeral and to meet my wife who had been taking care of her mom.

New Orleans was still in late January, showing many signs of Katrina having come through. A lot of houses had mobile homes in the front yard where people were living while their houses were being fixed.

Mmm, did not know you could narrow it down to a town. But like I said in my entry about Louisiana, Houma is where my mother-in-law lives.

My in-laws live in Houma, Louisiana. My mother-in-law has liver cancer and is slowly dying. My wife has already gone down there and is taking care of her mother during her last days. So I will be going down for the funeral.
