    Charleston (read all 3 entries…)

Hung out downtown with my roommate  — 2 years ago

We had Gelato (yummmmm), drove over the new bridge (I took this picture while holding my hand out the window as we were driving, and it was very windy and I almost lost the camera!), drove by the Yorktown, and drove back over the bridge again to go home.

Fun was had (by me, at least) :)

    New Orleans

    Worth visiting!

I went in high school  — 2 years ago

Or maybe it was middle school? I just remember that my mom’s cousin was graduating from Loyola Law, so we all went down and spent the week.

I remember how much my sister LOVED Bourbon street (which kinda made my dad wonder about her – she’s the baby). . . how my sister bought her first mask while there, and now owns over 50. . . the taste of the beignets and the cafe au lait (somewhere I used to have a coffee mug). . .

And I don’t remember a single THING about the graduation ceremony!!

    District of Columbia

I've actually already been once before  — 2 years ago

My family took a vacation there when I was in middle school (I think). I can remember the Smithsonian, and how I thought the air and space museum was WAY cooler. . . the Vietnam Memorial. . . Arlington cemetary and the incredible way they’ve lined the headstones up. . . the eternal flame for JFK. . . the time we took the subway (somewhere) nearby to meet my dad’s relatives, and we all saw a movie together (in PA??) (It was Parenthood, with Keanu and Steve Martin). . .

The more I think the more I can remember, but I am excited to be able to go again.
