Really gorgeous little place but only go if you want beaches and coral reefs—not much else there.

I went white water rafting here for the first time. Incredible!!

I grew up here…was SO glad to get away from the land of big hair, strip malls, pickup trucks and gun-racks. And if you aren’t Mormon well, you just won’t fit in so well. They do however have a few things going for them. Their downtown is starting to liven up a little. I still love going to Bar Gernika which has been there for years. The music scene has always been mostly decent for live bands. They have some beautiful parks and scenery. Floating the Boise River in the summer is a lot of good fun. But mostly, if I never went back I wouldn’t shed any tears.

Would love to see this little town. My mother-in-law’s family are all from here and it sounds wonderful.

I lived here for four years and still can’t figure out why I ever left…

the company I work for is based here so I have been there a few times. Reminds me of most of the midwest. Sort of flat, lots of stripmalls, nothing terribly old. They do have a few good restaurants and they certainly have a vibrant technology industry but it’s definitely not my idea of a vacation destination.

Now I mostly fly in and drive out but I am always looking forward to staying there again!
