Belfast

Worth visiting!

Interesting

I’ve a friend that lives in a cute little loft there, and everytime I’ve been there to visit, we found a good time. They say the people are great and I agree!

This is a very welcoming place and the fact that it’s not a huge tourist attraction makes it really fun to be in.

Toronto

(in Canada > Ontario)

Worth visiting!

A great taste of Canada.

I haven’t been here in years, but I did live there for 3 months.

See a show here! Toronto is always such a great city for the arts, and if art comes to your liking, you will not at all be disappointed. And I know for me, I got a lot more than I expected out of this city. It’s great.

There’s just so much to do, everyday! It’s surrounded by such small towns, so I’ve always found it amazing how thriving this city is.

I do hope to make it back there again one day.

Paris

Worth visiting!

Un rendez-vous extraordinaire

I used to love going here primarily for the experience. I adore the architecture throughout the city, and it’s lovely going on walks just to take it all in. The shopping can get pricey, but I like going to the market just the same. This is another one of the world’s great cities with a very rich history.

It definitely helps to know the language though. I know some people who haven’t had great experiences largely due to the language barrier. It does help to try speaking the language, for the most part.

People on the roads are a bit crazy and crossing streets in the main areas can be quite difficult. But the most satisfying places in all of Paris seem to be the areas with less tourist congestion.

I still say it’s largely worth the trip, but definitely worth the time to go around and see the things you really want to see. There’s too much to get around to in just one trip!

Roma

(in Italy > Lazio)

Worth visiting!

When in Rome

Don’t be afraid to try out everything, or you won’t get the complete experience!

Though there are many, many cities with great cultural backgrounds, I think Roma has to be the richest of places I’ve seen in terms of a wholesome culture. It’s a tourist haven during summer it seems, but this does not subtract from the beauty—It’s certainly a lively atmosphere.

The food is fantastic, so you’d have to be foolish not to leave without a full tummy. ; ) And the opera? For me, it really completed the experience.

Don’t forget to delve into the history a bit! All of Italy has such an inticing background quite worth looking into. It’s always great to understand the roots of the culture at hand, no?

But do watch for things like pick-pocketing! Tourists are targetted, because they normally don’t know any better, so it’s a good thing to keep in mind. Take only the money you need with you when you’re strolling through the streets. Keep all your belongings close!

Fiji

Worth visiting!

I plan on making it there again.

An absolutely enticing place. All the perks of the tropical location you want, plus lots of spots not as common to tourism. It’s one of my absolute favorite corners of the world, simply picturesque. : )

I’ve spent a month there on one occasion, and the other was for 6 days. I intend on going back. Maybe a possible honeymoon location?

But I can definitely say that the history is quite interesting and that this trip was very worth it for me on both occasions.
