Location near a famour shrine in the old city. Next door to Tokyo City Air Terminal (Bus Station to airport).

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza at Rue Gineste. Convenient to the Grand Place which is always a beautiful place to go, day or night!

Great place to pick up chocolate for your friends and loved ones!

Arrived at LGA and discovered the rains had cause all flights to be canceled. At 6pm, I was bummed out. By 6:15 I was taking a taxi to a Hilton at Times Square. By 8 I was in a great seat to watch Monty Python’s Spamalot. Definitely worth it…and much better than staying at the airport all bummed out.

A very good friend lives here, and she will be leaving sometime in the next several months. I must see this place before she goes.

Not much to see or do though.

Many beautiful islands nearby (Espoolahti area).

The place to buy supplies, tourist memories, food, or clothing. Don’t miss the Academic Bookstore located next to the main department store.

Just off one of Helsinki’s major parks with a great view of the sea.

Nice place to stop and take a break while traveling the downtown area.
