Can you believe that I’ve been to the new Browns Stadium three times and I work in downtown Cleveland, yet I have never been to Jacob’s Field?

I visited Disney World in 1979 (I was 6) for the first time. Ever since then I’ve vowed to go back. Once my daughter was old enough to understand I promised her I would take her someday.

This past summer we finally made it happen. The 50th Anniversay was going on and of course the crowds were insane. The heat was in the high 90’s all week long and I had to pop the blisters on my feet each night in the hotel room.

But when I saw the look on my daghters face when she saw Mickey Mouse…

Totally worth it.

I’ve been to three Browns games (one a year for the past four years – I missed the game last year) and have never tailgated. It’s a shame, I know, because Browns tailgate parties are legendary. As for the stadium, it’s very nice. Security is a big presence ever since Bottle-Gate and makes the game much more enjoyable. I took my wife for the first time this year (and she’s not particularly a fan) and she totally enjoyed herself.

On the bad side, food and beer is way too expensive.
