i grew up here. great local music. watch out for the prostitutes on broadway.

beautiful and enchanting, but it has become too touristy. the fences and barriers take away from it.

the live irish step dancing and music on temple road is great. but the alcohol is wayyyyyy overpriced, and many mornings i found myself dodging vomit in the streets. bring lots of money, and get yourself crunk!

hit up oceana! many drunken memories of stealing street signs and such. as an american study abroad student, i definately enjoyed my first semester of college. im going back soon!

the culture is rich and amazing. la rambla is beautiful with live talent and it’s great to haggle in the market place. any of gaudi’s work is a must see. some of the local men can be a bit creepy towards gringas, but it will give you a laugh. they dont have biscuits at their KFC! haha.
