So this year I have been stuck in Canberra because chronic pain has meant that I can’t sit down for more than 20 minutes without seriously aggravating it. My one trip away was to go to Sydney illegally lying in the back of a camper van to see a neurologist and go to hospital. So now I dream of going… anywhere.

Was a little disappointing, because of an interaction with a boy. But I liked the place itself. I’d like to have more time to see more than just Perth next time.

Was everything I’d hoped for, and more, and less, all at the same time. Was stupidly hot, and it was actually a great thing when it pissed down with rain, unfortunately the one day I wore my strawberry print gum boots was the one day it didn’t rain.

Loved the fire spectacular. Had been looking forward to it for about 5 years.

To find out if it’s true that they only sell men’s underpants in black, white or grey (but no other colours).

I’m going this year, hooray hoorah! All it took was my parents and sister to go to India over Christmas, and my friend to be going to woodford too.

Went swimming there yesterday. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I missed Australian beaches after a year overseas. Pretty good for a city beach, and on that famous walk from Coogee to Bondi.

Went back, since my sister was living there, and the blue groupers are still there, and just as charming. What a beautiful day :)

at the Prince’s Palace, which does yum cha. It’s beautifully located on the lake.

While I must say Belco always had a bit of a Tuggeranongish kinda feel to it, it is getting there, maybe some day it will be sophisticated.

I also worked here for a while, and played basketball.
