Amazing Host Family
Lampertheim is my city’s partner city in the world. I went on an exchange trip with my German class, so I stayed with my partner Helen’s family for two weeks. I can’t believe the hospitality! Here is someone I’d never met before (we’d exchanged emails), and I was living with them—eating their food, sleeping in their home…
I was dumbfounded.
Anyway, the town is awesome—very German-like, if that makes sense. It gave me a good impression of what cities around the country were like, and I loved it.
P.S. You have to eat ice cream if you go to Germany—it’s everywhere!
