I think I may end up living here someday, so I should probably check it out.

It’s not much, but the history is interesting. There’s a neat hike up in the mountains just outside of town.

I went for one reason – to take my picture in front of the “Courtenay Welcomes You” sign. :)

I moved from Chicago to L.A. at 14. I had a picture in my head of what L.A. looked like, but when we got there, it was nothing like that. It was an ugly city with a few palm trees. Then…

I visited Santa Barbara. It was just what I had pictured in my mind. Beautiful, charming and fun.

I can’t afford to live there, but I can dream.

Sand for lawns. Cactus for trees. 115 degrees outside; 60 degrees inside.

Even if you’re not a Packer fan… even if you can’t get a ticket… just go and tailgate in the parking lot. It’s an experience you will never forget!
