Moonbean Coffee Company

The first time I went to this place

I rubbed elbows (mostly literally) with all the locals and got halloween candy with my biscotti, and rainbow sprinkles on my hot chocolate. A great hangout-y place.

Airwaves Festival

Worth visiting!

Untitled

Didn’t hit it as much as I could have, but I enjoyed what I saw once I found what I liked. The only real drawback for me: all that indoor smoking, yuck.

Keflavík International Airport

Worth visiting!

The first time I went to this place

One of my travelling companions left her passport on the plane; the staff were nice about getting it back to her. If arriving at Keflavik, wait until you are leaving to buy stuff at the duty free! The duty free store upon landing has a much smaller selection…but is good for picking up duty-free alcohol, of course.

It’s also a pretty small but cute airport.

Lexie (sp?) the waitress is really nice. Quite a nice selection of beers as well. Very pleasant in the early evening.

High Park

Worth visiting!

The last time I went to this place

Sachac, some of her friends and I had a picnic here by the big maple leaf hoping to see cherry blossoms; alas, we were late. I had seen them the week before during my impromptu hike through the park, from Bloor down to the Queensway.
