I stayed here during a visit to Quebec City in December 2004. It was a beautiful wintery weekend and we wanted to stay in the old city and enjoy the charm and the beauty of the old city. There is a unique charm associated with Quebec City and wandering the streets of the Old City takes one back to times of horse drawn carriages. I always enjoy the beauty of the city and the history of the old buildings.

This is worth a visit both in Winter and Summer. There is a beauty that exists here which must be enjoyed in the Winter and can be appreciated when it is a bit warmer as well.

Glasgow, Scotland

I was in Scotland in February 2003 to spread the ashes of my parents and spent sometime in Glasgow with family. I have been here before but never toured the city or spent anytime downtown. There is a lot of history and the buildings are worth a look espcially Glasgow University.

Ottawa, Ontario

Used to Live Here

While it has lots of cultural things to see and it is the Capital of Canada it is a pretty conservative area. Good thing Hull is right across the river for night life. I did not find it a freindly place to live but I was not tourist so it will probably be defferent for you. Great place if you like museums.
