A review of this place: colorado is BREATHTAKING

gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. best thing I did in my 10 days there was to drive up to Loveland Pass and get out and hike at 11,000+ feet high. There were all kinds of secret lakes and incredible patches of wild sage growing underfoot. wow.

ITS

The only great thing so far about NE is that every June they host the International Thespian Society’s summer Festival. As a theatre teacher, this is like the mecca of cool things to do with your students. So.. go, Lincoln, Nebraska!

I like pubs, accents, and cozy weather… add to that many many cathedrals and the UK is your place. Small towns are charming, big cities are exciting. Best eats that I found: Weatherspoon’s pubs. Great curry specials and nice cider.

actually, I was next door in Majorca, but couldn't find that on 43places

well, this place was really intersting. I heard that catherine zeta-jones lives somewhere up in the mountains on this island, so I kept thinking we would bump into her. We were there for new years and the weather was incredible. 2 sets of fireworks: one at midnight uk time, and one at regular spain time. lots of tourists, though. great chorizo from a stand on the main street. We took busses up to the mountains and picked gorgeous oranges from the trees (which turned out to be really bitter). All in all, a great week to get away and be a tourist in a gorgeous place. Thanks, frank!!

How this place changed my life

I freaking LOVED Wales. The language, the hills, the bike rides to pubs, the half-pints, did I mention the language? Good lord, it was fantastic. Go, go, go.

ah, vermont

my boyfriend’s family lives here. I always have a great time when I’m there. My favorite thing so far is 1) drinking maple syrup out of a little paper cup in order to decide which brew to buy and 2) the “take vermont from behind” counter-campaign! brilliant!

A tip I have about this place

Go to West Asheville, the up and coming alternative to crowded, touristy downtown. It’s just 5 minutes away over the bridge (I-240) and has some of the best resteraunt, greatest yards, coolest shops, funkiest salons, etc., that we have to offer. If you have to do one thing: eat at Sunny Point Cafe. No lie.
