You MUST stay at the Kennedy School!!

I cannot recommend these places enough:

The Kona Tiki Motel – perfect 60’s motel on the ocean, the caretakers were incredibly friendly and there is a beautiful patio with a pool and breakfast every morning overlooking the ocean.

The Cliff House – in Waipi’o, absolutely breathtaking view, beautiful private two bedroom house. It’s just you and the ocean, you feel like you can see the entire Pacific laid out in front of you.

The hostel in Gimmelwald is by far the best one I’ve ever been to. And the view is INCREDIBLE!

I was backpacking with someone and we were taking the train from Barcelona to Cinque Terre, Italy. When we heard the conductor say, “Next stop: Cannes” we looked at eachother and said, “Let’s get off!” We spent two nights there and it was lovely.

We waited until night and jumped the fence at Urquhart castle and wandered around the ruins while bats swarmed overhead. Walking back to town was probably the only time I’ve ever literally not been able to see my hand in front of my face while outside.

I never thought all that much about my Scottish heritage, but going there somehow felt like coming home. An amazing and beautiful place, except for the whole driving on the other side of the road thing.

Greg and I went to San Francisco when we first started dating, and the whole trip was probably the best time of my life. I don’t use this word a lot, but I think the best word to describe this place is “breathtaking”, it’s unlike any other city I’ve ever visited, and if I could bear to leave my family, I would move there in a heartbeat.

Paris is a place that I could go back to over and over and over. It is everything you picture it to be, like a perfect black and white postcard.

At the Pike Place Market, Greg ate the biggest donut I’ve ever seen.
