Oh, my, did my feet hurt after walking around Paris all day in and out…

Very countrysidish … calm and relaxing.

A German friend of mine married his Italian wife in Perugia. It turned out to be a real picture book ceremony. After the church we went to party on a Castello, overseeing Assisi. Great!!!

However, we were lodged in the medieval town center. And parking in Perugia is an absolute nightmare. Leave your car and walk, that is so much easier and you get to see even more…

This place is not very touristy! The choice of restaurnts or bistros are not quite the same like in other towns. However, I liked this town, because it is so “normal” with real people having real jobs. I enjoyed the bustling little town square where people would hang out or walk around on weekends.

I like the bistro/restaurant at the marketplace above the famous bridge. Funny, cool staff and excellent food and wine.

Well, it is quite a nice town, but it is very small and there is not too much to do. If it is on your route I would recommend a stop over there. However, there are so many other places in Veneto …

Summer 2005

The beach of Conil De La Frontera stretches over several kilometers to the South. You get the feeling that you could walk until you hit Gibraltar… Excellent for long walks, runs or hikes!

This is the place to go if you like Sherry or Brandy. Lots of Bodegas are open for clients to try and buy.
