Chatham is pretty nice. The downtown is cute and there’s handy access to a couple of nice beaches. It gets busy, but not that busy.
Every year, I get a sunburn!

Labeling Baldwinsville as “Not worth visiting” seems too harsh to me, but it seems like more of a place that people actually live rather than visit. The town is attractive and the downtown is nice. They have a real, working lock along the canal and they have shows on the banks of the canal.

When we went to Niagara Falls, we took the Maid of the Mist tour. They make you where these blue plastic parkas and the boat goes right up to the falls. I definitely recommend it.

Ann and I went to Savannah in the wintertime to get away from the New England cold. It was sunny and warm the whole time we were there and the town is really cute. They have these little parks every couple of blocks and a lot of shops and interesting houses and buildings. The food was good and the people were friendly.
We stayed at a bed and breakfast, I recommend that if you are thinking of visiting. You can find a B&B that’s right in the historic section and that’s really the part you want to visit. This is the kind of place that you would want to spend a couple of days exploring.

Ann and I visited San Diego around Eeaster time. We stayed in a pretty nice hotel and visited the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, and Lego Land. Usually we spend a lot of time exploring the city but we were with family on this trip and didn’t get to do too much of that.
I live on the East coast and people had terrified me with stories of the driving in California. We rented a convertible and the driving wasn’t that bad. You have to take a highway to get anywhere and they are all four or more lanes, but it’s really not as scary as people make it sound.
In addition to visiting the Zoo, I recommend stopping at the In-N-Out Burger when you need a quick bite to eat.
