Star Drug Store, Galveston

so far this place is not worth going

because the service is bad. we waited forever to get waited on, then watched the girl make our coke float and egg cream with a dirty spoon. my float was ok. my husband’s egg cream was not very good at all – too much soda made it taste kind of weird. we will just stick with mod for our place. I am glad we tried star drug though and will consider going back in several months. maybe the kinks will be worked out by then.

we found Mobile to be a clean & safe New Orleans-like city. we enjoyed it very much!!

This place used to accept cash only. The last time we went there, they had signs saying that they accept credit/debit cards. So today we went there to eat and found that they have changed back to cash only. So we left because we were mad and did not want to go to the atm just to eat here.
