We did an in depth study of this place. Despite being a ruin it displays many good examples of Norman, Middle Age and Tudor architecture. So if your a bit of a history boff it will be fun. It also have some interesting history including a tragic love story which involves adultery and suicide and Mary I later to be dubbed ‘Bloody Mary’ spent a lot of time at the castle. It is mentioned repeatedly on the TV program ‘The Tudors’. And Henry VIII brothers heart was also buried here—lovely.

I’ve only ever been to the tower of london once and i was very small. I remember loving it if not being slightly scared by it. Since then I’ve wanted to return to get a proper look—its very expensive though.
