I drive through this town all the time. There is an A&W drive-in outside of town that is kind of cool. It’s probably not worth making a special trip to see, but if you are in the Portland area and going to Mount Hood, you might stop by this town for humor value.

Powell’s rules

Wow. I don’t know where to start. Powell’s is an awesome bookstore. It is one of my favorite places in Portland. You may have seen the website, but the physical store is really, really awesome. I don’t think a book-lover should visit Portland and not spend some time at Powell’s.
