I’m from a small town in B.C.(Castlegar) and as soon as we arrived at our accommodations there were two couples from Castlegar as well. They asked us if we knew a girl that went to UBC and was dating someone from Trail. I only know one girl that goes to UBC and dated someone from Trail. Oddly enough, Sam was staying just down the road with her friend Wendy! What a treat. I wonder what they’re doing now?
over 6 years agoI failed French in elementary school so thankfully we met a guy from Toronto that paid attention in class. He was our translator. We went to visit a waterfall and ended up missing the last bus. We stuck out our thumbs and a local picked us up. He only spoke French but we all sang Police songs that played on his stereo. Music was the only language we shared. Smile and ‘Merci’
over 6 years agoI used to sit on the water’s edge and just look out at the Opera House. When you’re up close the angles are just fluidlike.
