Got return flights from Liverpool for 10GBP last winter! 15 of us went and spent a long weekend in Oslo being silly. It was a really beautiful place and everyone we met was very friendly (apart from this ridiculously drunk Brit who absolutely hated me for some reason). I’d love to go back in summer when there’s more day light to visit the fjords on the western coast…
over 5 years agoI spent New Year’s Eve 2001 on the beach in Ko Chang. It is, without a doubt, the most beautiful place I have ever been to. And I’ve been to a few.
over 5 years agoThailand is a fantastic place for tourists especially if you don’t have that much travel experience. Everything is incredibly easy; you don’t really have to try very hard for anything. Thai people are really friendly and you don’t get hassled nearly as much as in poorer countries. Living there exposes you to the nastier sides of the country (government corruption, sex tourism, business scams, contract killings…) but as a tourist destination it’s unbeatable!
