The place is very small. I’ve been to Rumeli Feneri with a crowded group of friends to dine- there is a very good sea food restaurant. Reasonable price, a great view of Black Sea & Marmara Sea.

I heard recently that the restaurant is closed now, but I’m sure that there are if not a lot, still some places for fine sea food. It is out of town, but if you have a car, or if sb that you know has a car, a must see place, one bonus you’ld get if you decide to go is the small road trip you’ld do until you reach to Rumeli Feneri, which I’m sure you wouldn’t regret. All near locations are beautiful areas for to take it easy and relax while enjoying fresh nature and some extra ordinary istanbul architecture.

very small town: two-three streets (not long of course) divided by two-three streets. that’s the whole town. so far from the other popular locations on the island.

tofino is famous with its surfers in summer. if you’re not a surfer, it will be a dissappointment for you arriving there and seeing what this place is.

this small town is located on the road of ‘Karaburun’, İzmir. It is approximately at the 20th km of the road. Balıklıova is situated at a very small area but can offer you various fish restaurants. They are all located near the sea- so close that most of them have terraces over the sea, and the prices are reasonable. I can guarantee that if you have chance to try one of those fish restaurants, you won’t regret from the food, nor from the view of the sea and near locations.

The whole area is famous with its olive and olive oil. It is likely to run on to some local sellers on the road-turkish olive oil is not as popular as the italian or the greek, but one of the finest in world, (my opinion: the taste is not comparable to any.) And you can buy a liter of a natural olive oil to a very cheap price here. If you are one of those who like to find ‘undiscovered’ beautiful places, and especially if you like sea food, balıklıova is a must place to take a look.
