My family is from Montreal so I end up hanging out with my cousins when I am there. They tend to party as much if not more than me.

My cousin Ray got married last time and it was a lot of fun. The wedding and the reception was in English, French and Italian (since the bride was Italian).

Weirdest thing was we went to a billiards hall and drank beer. When I went to the bathroom there was a coridoor to an attached building. It looked like a club and when my eyes adjusted more it was a male strip club. I swear to god I didn’t go in, but I did make $10 in tips standing in line for the bathroom…

Last time I was here the late drinking laws totally threw me off kilter. That meant that there were a few hazy memories hanging out with a British friend of mine at a sub shop and yelling at assholes who were anti-foreigner…

The best restaurants that we went to were Castaway cafe (Loco Moco) and Gazibo (Macadamean nut pancakes with fried rice) which both had excellent breakfast food.

The night that I slept on my mom’s boyfriend’s boat in the “coffin cabin” (it is as comfortible as it sounds) all of the cars in the parking lot were stolen. I found a taquilla called “Viva Vive” in a plastic bottle. Only half of it has been drinken over the last 10 years…

It was a family vacation. We got a nice villa up in the hills with open bathtubs and a swimming pool. Of course, there were all the standard “mexican” places like Senior Frogs and Papas and Frits. Did I mention I drank a lot?

When I last went to Cyrpus (Limasol and Aya Napa) it was during a summer and the climate was like nice, dry California weather. Sure, the girl I was supposed to meet me there never showed up (which contributes to my distrust for Serbian women), but I had a great time meeting people. During that time I met people from all over Europe while they were on vacation.

My dad opened a B&B on the island a little ways from Friday Harbor. It is a Japanese styled B&B and is on a secluded 15 acers.

The island has crappy bars (around two I have found), but it is a nice place to relax. Also, the restaurants have started to get better (120 Nicoles, Steps, Duck Soup, etc.).

I don’t know what it is about camping, but I love doing it. Whether it is the 96 can coolers you can buy or the thrill of everything smelling like campfire afterwards it is a great experience.
