it seems like the initial description and pictures posted are about a sunnyside in canada, not the sunnyside in queens, NYC.

the queens sunnyside pictures would involve more trains, irish pubs, and fast food. :D

i hung out here drinking wine with strangers. so much fun!

stay for the week, invite friends, spark up the BBQ, enjoy the pool, and have a blast. repeat every year. :D

I fell in love with my high school sweetheart in astoria park, and proposed to her on the swings ten years later. I drank my first beer on the strip- and drank more beers at McCanns Pub than any other bar in the world. No souvlaki will ever taste as good as one from Tony’s Opa Opa, no slice of Pizza will ever be as good as frankies, and no chinese food will ever be as good as china palace down on 20th avenue. the Rat Hole under the train station on ditmars was the best pool hall ever, and the old movie theater on steinway street will be always be better than the regal begal. Cup is good for dinner, and Fatty’s is bestest for brunch.

things will be back to the way they were in the french quarter, one day.

but absolutely wonderful.

about as far away from my everyday life as possible, in every way.

I think nelly said it best… I gots secret’s that can’t leave cancun. ;)

and i still miss it. Great restaurants, lively vibe…
